👋 Welcome

Whether you’re new to testing your UI components or have hard-earned experience, we believe you’ll learn something new that will level up your testing skills. We’ll get hands-on with Storybook Test, which lets you develop and test your components in real time, with instant feedback.

We’re so glad you’re here!

What to Expect

Starting on February 12, 2025 thru April 25, 2025, we’ll be hosting weekly office hours and live sessions with the Storybook team and other frontend experts. We’ll also provide support via our Discord channel, #sb-test-early-access.

Throughout the program, you’ll receive:

• One-on-one help and troubleshooting from Storybook maintainers
• Access to the latest features and RFCs before they’re released
• Exclusive webinars & live sessions to help you develop effective UI testing strategies

What We Need from You

We’re looking for your feedback, ideas, and insights! Here are a few things we’re hoping you can bring:

• Preparation: Before joining, please make sure your project is running Storybook version 8.5+ (upgrade guide) and that you’ve attempted to install and set up the Test addon (docs). If you hit any snags with upgrading or setup, feel free to reach out in [private Discord channel]—we’re here to help!
• Focused Discussions: Our support during the program is focused on Storybook Test specifically. If you need general Storybook support, go to the Storybook community discussion board.
• Office Hours: These sessions are open to everyone in the program, so please come prepared with code you’re comfortable sharing. If your codebase is sensitive, bring a simplified reproduction instead.
• Engagement & Feedback: Share what’s working well and what could be improved. We’ll track it all on our GitHub milestone.
• Communication: When questions, ideas, or issues come up, feel free to reach out in [private Discord channel] or during office hours.
